Suitable Clothing to wear
Visitors should wear casual and polite dress. Any kind of shoes that can be easily removed since neither shoes nor socks are allowed when entering religious monuments. Precipitation in Upper Burma (Bagan / Mandalay) is much less than in Lower Burma (Yangon and the South). All year round we recommend sun protection, dress code everywhere is casual, light cotton garb is recommended. Weather is rather cold from November to February in Shan state, Inle Lake, Kalaw, Chin state and Kachin state. Recommend to bring warm cloths for

Travel tips
All kinds of transport such as buses, trains, flights, boats are available in Myanmar. Due to lack of infrastructure, local buses and trains cannot consider as easy traveling but profitable to meet people and see landscape through out the journey. The best part to travel by train is Yangon – Mandalay (OR) Mandalay – Yangon. Each way takes about 14 hrs. Travel by flight is the best and easiest way to travel. Three airlines (Air Mandalay, Yangon Air and Air Bagan) run the main tourist sites. The airlines use ATR 72 and ATR 42 French aircrafts and Fokker 100.

Visa Formalities
Tourist visas are issued at all Myanmar Embassies and Consulates abroad.
Myanmar has increased its TOURIST VISA to 28 days to allow tourists to stay longer at each famous cultural sites as well as visits to newly introduced areas. Tourist visas can be obtained within a day or two. Entry to Myanmar and departure are permissible through Yangon International Airport, Mandalay International Airport, Sea Port and China and Thai boarder points. Visa fees are US$20.00 per person.

Visa on Arrival Permit
Visa on arrival Permit can be done on prior basisfor tourists from countries, where Myanmar Embassies do not exist.  We would need passport number, passport date of issue, passport date of expire,nationality, occupation, address and two photos to apply visa on arrival permit.


Day 01: Arrival Yangon & Sightseeing  (D)
Arrive at Yangon Interntional Airport. Welcome by our tour guide. Transfer to Hotel. Yangon sightseeing tour includes the old colonial style city center with the gilded Sule Pagoda. Continue to Chaukhtatgyi - a huge reclining Buddha image, proceed to Shwedagon Pagoda - one of the world most spectacular religious monuments and the golden dome of the Pagoda rises 98 meter above its base and is covered with 60 tons of pure gold., will conclude the tour of this picturesque garden city.

Day 02: Yangon - Bagan   (B)
This morning, transfer to the airport for your domestic flight to Nyaung Oo. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel in Bagan. A special wedding present is waiting in your room upon arrival.
After freshening up, the journey begins with a visit to an elevated temple with spectacular views over the surrounding plains. This is the perfect introduction to the grandeur and scope of Bagan’s architecture. Next continue to Ananda Temple, one of the most revered temples in Bagan and which is quiet in the morning, before all the tour buses arrive.
Afterwards we will go to Myinkaba Village and visit Gubyaukgyi Temple which is noted for its beautiful mural paintings on its inner walls and well-preserved plaster carvings on its exterior. Nearby is Manuha Temple and Nan Paya Temple, two smaller temples with nice Buddha statues and stone work.
Transfer to hotel for a break to escape the intense afternoon heat of Bagan.
Later this afternoon, resume your journey with a visit to two workshops producing Bagan’s most famous products: lacquer ware and wood crafts. Watch as the skilled craftsmen use techniques passed down through generations to create beautiful items. Then travel by horse carriage among the temples starting at Ananda and passing many of Bagan’s famous monuments and traversing the plains.

Day 03: Bagan  (B,D)
Begin today with a visit to the colorful Nyaung Oo Market where dozens of vendors come to sell their fresh produce and products.  The market is at its busiest early in the morning as the locals come to do their shopping. This is a great opportunity to observe the daily lifestyle of the friendly locals.
Continue to the neighboring villages where you will learn about their traditional livelihood. Learn the interesting process of creating poneyay gyi (pea powder paste) and see how local plum jam is made and packed.
Then resume your temple touring with a visit to the glittering Shwezigon Pagoda, a prototype of later Myanmar stupas. Return to your hotel for a break from the midday heat and lunch at leisure.Late this afternoon, the romance and beauty of Myanmar's Irrawaddy River awaits you.  Board a luxurious private boat for a cruise down the River. Enjoy your sandbank dinner by watching sunset.

Day 04: Bagan - Mandalay - Sightseeing  (B)
After breakfast, fly to Mandalay. Upon arrival, drive to ancient capital of Amarapura, 15 kilometers south of Mandalay, visit to 1.2 Km long about 200 years old U Bein Bridge - built of huge teak logs salvaged from Ava Royal Palace. Continue to Mahagandayon Monastery - a famous Buddhist monastery, where more than a thousand monks live and study. After that, proceed to Mandalay on the way study the bronze casting, Kalaga or embroidery, and marble stone carving. Then continue to Mahamuni with its spectacular Buddha image covered with thick layers of gold leaves, then visit the Gold-leave beating, Shwenandaw or Golden Palace Monastery, a superb example of a traditional wooden building and Kuthodaw Pagoda - known as the world biggest book, consisting of 729 marble slabs engraved with Buddhist scriptures. Day 05: A cruise to visit Ava, Saging & Amarapura full day   (B)
From the jetty in Mandalay we take a leisurely boat cruise for about 2 hoursdownstream to Sagaing passing the temple dotted hills where we stop and visit the Setkyar Thida nunnery. We continue by boat to Ava, horse carts are ready to take
us around this magnificent site past ancient temple ruins that used to be majestic buildings. Lunch will be taken in Ava before we continue to Amarapura by car. The old capital of Amarapura is a very quiet village nowadays where you only hear the sound of the weaving machines. We visit one of the small weaving factories and walk over U-Bein Bridge. An ideal excursion if you don’t take the boat fromMandalay to Bagan since the most interesting part of the long boat ride is covered in this shorter cruise.

Day 06: Mandalay - Pyin Oo Lwin - Mandalay  (B)
After breakfast, drive to Pyin Oo Lwin, the former British Hill Station and where there are many Colonial Buildings. Visit around the most beautiful town including Botanical Garden. After that, drive back to Mandalay.

Day 07: Mandalay - Heho - Kalaw Sightseeing  (B)
After breakfast, transfer to airport and fly to Heho. Drive to Kalaw. When you get Kalaw, a fresh and delightful hill station, on the rim of the Shan Plateau, which is a market center for ethnic minorities from surrounding regions.

Day 08: Pindaya – Inle - Sightseeing  (B)
After breakfast drive to Pindaya. Upon arrival visit the Pindaya caves - unique for the thousands of Buddha images placed there by pilgrims over many centuries and Shan traditional bamboo umbrella making. The journey continues on a narrow, winding and bumpy road through the Shan Hills to Inle Lake.

Day 09: Inle Sightseeing   (B)
After breakfast, an excursion by boat on Inle Lake, to see the Intha - fishermen rowing with their legs, Pagoda on artificial islands in the lake, floating gardens and floating market [ on market day only ], continue to Phaung Daw Oo Pagoda, one of the main principle shrines of Myanmar and dating back to the 18th century; the NgaPheChaung Monastery, famous for its jumping cats trained by monks and the weaving village of Inpawkhon.

Day 10: Inle – Heho – Thandwe - Ngapali  (B)

Free at your own leisure till transfer to airport for your flight. Upon arrival at Yangon, welcome by our local tour guide and transfer to your hotel for check in. In the afternoon, begin your tour with Yangon’s colonial style city center. Visit Kaba Aye Pagoda (World Peace Pagoda) built for memorial of the 1954-56 sixth Buddhist Synod, Kyauktawgyi Pagoda where there are white elephants and Buddha Tooth Relic Pagoda.
