  • Day 1: Saigon Arrival (D)
    Upon arrive at Saigon international airport, private airport pick up and transfer to check in hotel. Enjoy welcome dinner at a local restaurant. Overnight in Saigon.
  • Day 2: Saigon – Cu Chi tunnels - City tour (B,L)
    Morning transfer to Cu Chi tunnels at 8am. Start the visit of the famous Cu Chi Tunnels which consist of an incredible underground tunnel network constructed by Vietnamese resistance fighters (Viet Cong) during both the French and American wars. Start the visit with the Ben Dinh or Ben Duoc sections of the tunnel. Here you can imagine what it was like to be a guerrilla complete with Russian Carbine rifles and AK 47′s on display. At around 14:00, drive back to Saigon airport for halfday city tour. You visit Reunification Palace, which is one of the most important buildings in the city. Here on April 30, 1975, what the Vietnamese refer to as the ‘American War' officially ended when tank number 843 of the North Vietnamese Army crashed through the gates of what was, at the time, the residence of the Republic of “South” Vietnam government. Walk to visit Notre Dame Cathedral and Old Post Office, which are the best examples of classical French colonial architecture. Stop at Ben Thanh central market for free 1-hour shopping. Overnight in Saigon.
  • Day 3: Saigon – Cai Be – Mekong delta (B,L)
    Morning, pick up at your hotel and transfer to Cai Be, a riverside town located in the Mekong Delta. Enjoy a boat cruise to the Cai Be floating market with sellers and buyers bargaining and exchanging goods from their boats, and then go to Thoi Son islet where the maze of shady creeks will surely fascinate you. You will have a change to mingle with local peasants, learn the secrets of their bonsai gardening. Visit local homes where the families produce tiles and ceramics; drop into rice-paper kiln and coconut-candy kiln; and observe daily country life. A typical Vietnamese lunch at a local home will be arranged. Late afternoon return to Saigon. Overnight in Saigon.
  • Day 4: Saigon – Flight to Da Nang – Hoi An (B,L)
    Morning flight to Da Nang city in Central Vietnam. Private airport transfers are included. Arriving at Da Nang, meet our guide and transfer to Hoi An Old quarter for hotel check in. Morning, take a half day walking tour of Hoian, discovering the historic town which used to be a prosperous seaport city during the 16th to 18th centuries. Visit Hoi An’s colourful local market, Tan Ky old house, Fukian Assembly Hall, and the 400-year-old Japanese covered bridge. You can also see local residents raising silkworms and producing silk for Hoian's burgeoning textile industry. Overnight in Hoi An.
  • Day 5: Hoi An – Tra Que village – Cam Thanh village (B,L)
    In the morning, meet our guide at your hotel and ride a bicycle to a local farm in Tra Que village. You will take a trip around the vegetable garden and join the farmers in preparing the land and fertilizing it with seaweed from the local lake. Continue doing some next steps such as: raking the ground, sowing, watering greens, picking greens and many more gardening activities. Then cycle to Cam Thanh water coconut village, 5km from Hoi An. The coconut forest is not only a monument with special historical value, it is also a unique ecological area with water flooded forests charming landscapes. You will enjoy lunch on boat, then go boating, fishing and boat race there. Cycle back to Hoi An and overnight in Hoi An.
  • Day 6: Hoi An - Hue – Flight to Hanoi (B,L)
    Morning, transfer to Hue in your private vehicle. The overland journey will take you through one of the most beautiful scenery of Vietnam when you traverse the Hai Van (Cloudy Pass). There will be plenty of photo opportunities and stops at beaches en route. Arriving at Hue, you will start the day visiting the Forbidden City and the Imperial Citadel, the magnificent tomb of Vietnam’s last monarch Khai Dinh. Drive along the Perfume River to visit Thien Mu Pagoda, one of the most ancient architectural structures for religious worship in Hue. Fly to Hanoi. Private airport transfers are included. Overnight in Hanoi.
  • Day 7: Hanoi – Halong – Bai Tu Long Bay (B,L,D)
    Start at 8:00 with transfer to Halong City. This transfer takes around 3 hours. We may stop enroute to admire the local scenery. Arrive at the port around 11:30 and board the cruise. Begin sailing and pass through a magical bay, where thousands of sculpted limestone islands rise from the waves like dragons’ teeth. After lunch, take a short trek to a nearby summit for a panoramic view of the bay dotted with golden sails, go swimming on a quiet beach or sunbath on the sundeck. Later in the afternoon, visit the interesting Vung Vieng fishing village or Cap La fishing village with an opportunity to interact with local people who have been living in the bay for almost three generations. Back on board, enjoy a lavish dinner. Overnight on Halong cruise.
  • Day 8: Bai Tu Long Bay – The 2nd night on cruise (B,L,D)
    Morning view of Bay’s landscape with a cup of tea or coffee. Have breakfast in the fresh air. Then start cruising to Cong Dam while discovering geological values of Bai Tu Long Bay. Enjoy kayaking through the hidden lagoons and geological park in Cong Dam. Go swimming in the crystal water. Back to junk for lunch and relaxing. Cruise to an untouched island for swimming or kayaking to discover the stunning scenery of the Bay. Return to the main cruise to have a deluxe dinner on board. Overnight on Halong cruise.
  • Day 9: Halong - Hanoi (B,L)
    Wake up with Tai Chi exercises (kind of light exercises) on the sun deck and continue cruising along the bays. Enjoy breakfast buffet in the restaurant, then visit the limestone grotto. Disembark in Halong City around 11:00 and get back to Hanoi with your vehicle, guide and driver. Arrive at your Hanoi hotel at around 17:00. Overnight in Hanoi.
  • Day 10: Hanoi - Departure (B)
    Breakfast & Check out your hotel. Private airport transfer is arranged. Say goodbye to Vietnam and see your soon.
