  • Day 1: Hanoi Arrival (D)
    Upon arrival at the Airport, you will meet our guide and transfer to hotel for check-in. Enjoy special welcome dinner at a nearby restaurant with Vietnamese cuisine. Overnight in Hanoi.
  • Day 2: Hanoi – City tour – Duong Lam ancient village (B,L)
    Enjoy Hanoi city tour today to visit Hochiminh Mausoleum and his former residence (Closed on Monday, Friday and the whole of Oct & Nov), One pillar Pagoda, Ba Dinh historic square where former President Ho Chi Minh declared the Independence of Vietnam in 1945. Leave Hanoi for Duong Lam village, a purely agricultural village of the Northern Red River Delta. Lunch is served in an ancient house then explore the village with about 300 hundred-year-old houses, Mong Phu communal house, tombs of 2 famous kings “Phung Hung” and “Ngo Quyen”, rice fields, the village gate, old well. Enjoy some talk with the locals in their own ancient houses while visiting the ancient houses there. Leaving Duong Lam village with the deep understanding on farming will give you exciting experience ever. Overnight in Hanoi.
  • Day 3: Hanoi – Hoa Lu – Trang An (B,L,D)
    Today you go on boating in Trang An ecology site and know more about Vietnam history in Hoa Lu. Upon arrival, firstly you visit Hoa Lu ancient capital of Vietnam in the 10th century. Visit King Dinh and King Le temple and the ruined palaces where the kings organise special meetings. Hike up to Ma Yen mountain to visit King Dinh tomb and take landscape photos of the whole area. Lunch is served at local restaurant with special dishes of Goat meat.  Depart to visit Trang An tourist attraction, take boat trip to visit cave complex: Sang Cave, Toi Cave, Ba Giot Cave, Nau Ruou in mystery and wildness, see scenery of mountain and rivers. Trang An is considered as “Ha Long on the land”. Transfer back to Hanoi. Overnight in Hanoi.
  • Day 4: Hanoi – Halong – UNESCO World Heritage (B,L,D)
    Start at 8:00 with transfer to Halong City. This transfer takes around 3 hours. We may stop enroute to admire the local scenery. Arrive at the port around 11:30 and board the ship. Begin sailing and pass through a magical bay, where thousands of sculpted limestone islands rise from the waves like dragons’ teeth. After lunch, take a short trek to a nearby summit for a panoramic view of the bay dotted with golden sails, go swimming on a quiet beach or sunbath on the sundeck. Later in the afternoon, visit an interesting fishing village with an opportunity to interact with local people who have been living in the bay for almost three generations. Back on board, enjoy a lavish dinner. Overnight on Halong cruise.
  • Day 5: Halong – Hanoi – Flight to Da Nang – Hoi An (B,L)
    Wake up with Tai Chi exercises (kind of light exercises) on the sun deck and continue cruising along the bays. Enjoy breakfast buffet in the restaurant, then visit the limestone grotto. Disembark in Halong City around 11:00 and get back to Hanoi with your private vehicle, guide and driver.
    Free at leisure or go shopping in Hanoi Old Quarter before transferring to airport for flight to Da Nang.
    Arriving at Da Nang, meet our guide and transfer to Hoi An Old quarter for hotel check in. Overnight in Hoi An.
  • Day 6: Hoi An lantern making (B,L)
    Morning, take a half day walking tour of Hoian, discovering the historic town which used to be a prosperous seaport city during the 16th to 18th centuries. Visit Hoian's colourful local market, Tan Ky old house, Fukian Assembly Hall, and the 400-year-old Japanese covered bridge. You can also see local residents raising silkworms and producing silk for Hoian's burgeoning textile industry.
    After lunch, visit a local family and you make lanterns under their instruction. You will have a real look on the making stages: from sharpening bamboo, bending into frame, cutting cloth, sticking and completing lanterns under the guidance of enthusiastic craftmen. After saying goodbye, you will have meaningful & colorful souvernirs - the lanterns made by yourselves. Overnight in Hoi An.
  • Day 7: Hoi An – Tra Que herb village – Da Nang beach leisure (B,L)
    In the morning, meet our guide at your hotel and ride a bicycle to a local farm in Tra Que village. You will take a trip around the vegetable garden and join the farmers in preparing the land and fertilizing it with seaweed from the local lake. Continue doing some next steps such as: raking the ground, sowing, watering greens, picking greens and many more gardening activities.
    Afternoon, transfer to Da Nang city to check in a beach resort. Enjoy free beach leisure in the resort. Overnight in Da Nang.
  • Day 8: Da Nang – Flight to Saigon – City tour (B)
    Morning free beach leisure then check out at 12:00. Take your early afternoon flight to Saigon. Upon arrival, you take city tour to visit War Remnants Museum, which features a comprehensive collection of the machinery; weapons; photos; and documentation of Vietnam's wars with both the French and Americans. Check in your hotel. Overnight in Saigon.
  • Day 9: Saigon cooking class (B)
    Understanding the food is a great way to experience the culture of this fascinating country. Vietnamese food is healthy, simple to cook and delicious. This half day tour gives you a hands-on lesson on how to shop for and cook the authentic Vietnamese cuisine. You are picked you up at hotel and greeted by your chef at a local market: Ben Thanh market. Here you will learn more about the ingredients, Vietnamese herbs and spices. Transfer to the Cookery Center. Start the cooking class, held in a wonderful traditional setting. Free afternoon at leisure. Overnight in Saigon.
  • Day 10: Saigon – Cai Be – Can Tho (Mekong delta) (B,L)
    Morning, pick up at your hotel and transfer to Cai Be, a riverside town located in the Mekong Delta. Enjoy a boat cruise to the Cai Be floating market with sellers and buyers bargaining and exchanging goods from their boats, and then go to Thoi Son islet where the maze of shady creeks will surely fascinate you. You will have a change to mingle with local peasants, learn the secrets of their bonsai gardening. Visit local homes where the families produce tiles and ceramics; drop into rice-paper kiln and coconut-candy kiln; and observe daily country life. A typical Vietnamese lunch at a local home will be arranged. Late afternoon transfer to Can Tho at the heart of Mekong region. Check in your hotel and overnight in Can Tho.
  • Day 11: Can Tho floating market – Saigon (B,L)
    Enjoy the morning boating to Cai Rang floating market, the most typical feature of Mekong river life. Cai Rang Floating Market is open all day but it is busiest from sunrise to about 9am. From the early morning, the waterway becomes a maze of hundreds of boats packed with fruits, vegetables, plants, foods, etc... The market visit is followed by walking to a rice factory to know more about the main rice provider of the country. Lunch and check out your hotel. Transfer to Saigon. Overnight in Saigon.
  • Day 12: Saigon - Departure (B)
    Breakfast & Check out your hotel. Private airport transfer is arranged. Say goodbye to Vietnam and see your soon.
