The mountain railway operational in Ba Na Hills

On April 26, 2014, a mountain railway was officially put into use in Ba Na Hills, a famous tourist resort featuring a complex of landscaping and architectural creations in Da Nang province, Central Vietnam. The 400m mountain railway with 02 independent train cabins each holding up to 80 people, is designed to provide comfortable and safe transport within the big resort where moving from one spot to another can take time and energy. It can serve around 1,600 passengers per hour in all weather conditions. Tourists to use this railway service will be mostly the elderly, children, and those who find it difficult to walk up steep slopes. Now, with a train ride at $3.5 per adult and $2.5 per child, they can visit most prominent spots in the resort including Linh Ung Pagoda, the Le Jardin Flower Gargen and the classic French-style mansions. With the speed of 05-meters per second, the train cabin will give passengers opportunities to enjoy sightseeing of mountains and forests along the way.
